    A few CrossFire questions

Hey , i plan on building a gaming pc and i have some questions.

    1) How powerful does a Power Supply need to be to CrossFire 2 x6870s ? What about 3x 6870s ?

    2) Are all CrossFire compatible motherboards capable of CrossFiring x3?

    3) Is there any noticeable difference between the variations of 6870 GPUs , as the prices vary by 20-25% between them. Which one do you recommend?

Thanks for taking the time to read and reply to this

1)2x6870 requires a minimum 650W PSU, 3x6870's is not supported as far as I can tell.
2)No not all Crossfire boards support X3 need to find them specifically.
3)Each model my have varying cooling and clock speeds. Generally the more expensive units have better cooling and higher clocks.

    1)Each 6870 takes 150W of power.
    2)See Culadin
3)Noise and heat is a big different between different models. Note if you Xfire with overclocked cards, they can all only go as fast as the slowest card.
