    Can't choose ram

Hello everyone , i'm going to buy tomorrow this :

    i5 2500k + Asus P8P67 rev3.0

    i bought .RAM DDR3 G.Skill NQ F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ 1600Mhz 4GB (2x2GB) CL9 1.5v

    then i saw
    .RAM DDR3 G.Skill Ripjaws-X F3-12800CL9D-4GBXL 1600MHz 4GB (2x2GB) CL9 1.5v

i tried to check the mobo qvl but i still didn't get a clear answer ..

is the NQ one ok for my system ? should i buy the XL ?

i can't understand what's the real difference between them :\
    thx guys

They're basically the same thing. The second set has heat spreaders that are taller than the RAM is, so it's harder to fit larger CPU heatsinks over them.

I was looking at the two, and one says optimized for P55 and the other says for P67 yet I don't see where they wouldn't work in either being 240 pin DDR3 1.5V ... but I'm no expert.

QVLs are very often out of date and not really worth looking at.
All you need to do to make sure is that the RAM:
Isn't made for laptops (which are SODIMMs)
Is the right kind for your motherboard (DDR2 or DDR3)
Has an acceptable voltage (Sandy Bridge uses 1.5V or lower, older DDR3 was 1.65V)
Is Dual channel or Triple channel corresponding with your motherboard.
