hey, i was wonder i want to start making gold using jc prospecting and disenchanting i was wondering how much would i need to be buying the ore to make a reasonable profit

Depends on how much each mat sells for on your server.. on my server

25g per stack of elementium ore
130g per stack of Hessonite
150g per stack of Nightstone

I make a killing at these prices, and I am always buying

OreCrusher can be used to work out the profit for your server (along with other addons including Trade Skills Master and Auctioneer), which you can download from Curse. They will work out based on scanning the auction house at the time giving you the most accurate answers.

It's completely flexible as it's 100% dependant on your server prices. On my server elementium needs to be under 25g a stack and pyrite 60g at the moment, but if gem prices go up or down (or enchanting mat prices) so do those values.
