What do you all think looks better? The Season Two Merciless Vestments or The Deathmantle set?

Depends a bit on preference ofc. Personally I think the deathmantle looks a bit more rogue lore wise (more visually unnoticable and shadowy) but I like the red of the season 2 as well. Overall I don't like the sets however (kinda distaste the 'I am skeletor from He-man' mask, and also the shoulders)
But if I had to choose between the 2, i'd chose the season 2 set.

Does anyone know of a decent pair of gloves to go with the bloodfang set? The gloves never seem to drop.

Got the T6 gloves yesterday so I'm currently wearing them although they are a bit on the orange side.

I've got 3 to share, but I haven't done a transmog on my other rogue.... there isn't a lot I can do for a lvl 1 twink rogue for transmog. My 39 rogue looks terrible, I'm only posting her to get some advice. I'd like to either base the outfit around the helm or the MH mace.

The Horde Slayer is just S9 pvp stuff with Fist of the Deities. The Qiraj is just the Wrathful set with Firelands daggers.

As far as transmog... why? I'm more likely to be pissed off that daggers and fists, the weapons we are currently stuck with, are not effected by the new rules.

No probs.

Shoulders - Puncture binding spaulder
Chest - Peerless armor (cost me 27,000 gold.)
Weapons are just Electrified daggers
Boots - boots of raging haze (although the ones that drop from Vizier look better, just not got them yet)
Legs - Warbear woolies
belt - Bloodfang belt
Gloves - embossed leather gloves

I think thats it off the top of my head

What inventions have people come up with to go with their Challenge Mode gold armour?

I'm currently using Drape of the Refreshing Winds for cloak, double Emerald Ripper for weapons, and Reins of the Amber Scorpion for idling in Shrine. Can't really find a flying mount that fits the theme.

You're the second person I see that likes t9. It's great, I love to use it - although I use Challende Mode atm. It's extremely underrated though.

What inventions have people come up with to go with their Challenge Mode gold armour?

No cape, but I use the Klaxxi dagger (exalted).
