Darkmoon Faire Portals?

Now I haven't been on the PTR to check it out yet, but it does say that Darkmoon Mages in capital cities and on Darkmoon Island will also be around to help you get between the Faire and various capital cities. There’s no such thing as a free lunch, so naturally you’re obliged to compensate them for their services. Could this be a replacement, albeit one where you have to pay, for the portals to all the cities that we lost in Shattrath and Dalaran?

they should have made you shoot out of a cannon and land in a portal like the game they had in elwynn

This isn't on the PTR from what I know, seeing how PTR is still 4.2.2 and the Darkmoon Isle is in 4.3. Also it does say that there will be a free transport in Elwynn and Mulgore to take you to the Darkmoon Isle on the first week of each month.

Only when the faire is active. So it's hardly a replacement.
