Yet another plea for help! (Shadow DPS)

So, I see these kinds of posts on here a lot, and I've even tried to help a few people out when I can, but it's my turn to ask for help. I've read the stickies, I've done the research, I thought I knew what I was doing. But I am consistently performing below where I feel I should be for the gear I have. Since I know what to do, and I think I'm doing it, but I'm not seeing the results, the only logical conclusion is that I am not doing it right. Or I am, and my standards are just to high. Anyway, enough with that. Here are the links:

I'm pretty terrible and sifting through logs myself, so I appreciate you guys taking a look through them. I've recently replaced TM(N) with the NF(N) and broken the 30% haste point, and I have seen an increase in my DPS, but I still feel I should be doing more. I was trying to maximize the TF proc by abusing the ES buff, but there were times where I didn't have an orb for a good half the duration (this might show up in the earlier logs). I am using Fiend and DAA on CD, with the exception of course being the beginning of the fight, where I wait to get my DOTs rolling with ES, and as many of my intellect procs to be up at a time as possible (really just DMC:V. The others are a bonus). I am hit capped, as a personal preference. I've seen evidence presented on both sides, and, frankly, I don't like misses. There is just entirely to much stuff going on during a boss fight for me to see that I missed on VT/DP.

I also have a question: I am aware that SimC was busted for a bit, something to do with the ES buff and tracking it. Has it been fixed? I'm trying to decide if I should use the Tier pants, since I won't see the helm for at least another week, and that's only if it drops. It will bring me below the 30% haste point, but I'm thinking the 4 piece bonus is probably worth the trade.

Looking out the logs on the rag attempts you have an extremely low MB dmg. You need your 4piece at any cost. Your dmg should be top to bottom:liek this picture http://imageshack.us/f/839/ragdmg.jpg/

I ranked #76 on 25 man Rag Normal, with this management. Plus your Empowered Shadow buss is low because of the lack of mastery. Currently I'm at 34% bonus DoT dmg.

Just keep your DoTs up. The problem with 98% of all players is that they can't do proper DPS when having to execute tactics. Plan ahead. If you know you're going to move soon, make sure you DoTs don't fall off during that time. All this crap about "breakpoints" and "hit cap" are just small things that don't really matter. People who make threads like this usually have a decent understanding of their priority system and they know what they are supposed to do on a boss. They are just unable to do it.

True. I wouldnt worry about getting that extra 2% haste as much as not getting hit by lava waves and jumping into magma traps.

Congrats Ariadne on your guys 6/7 Heroic progression. I expect to see that heroic rag kill soon and you better be frapsing

First of all, you should DEFFO go for the 4-set-bonus. DEFFO DEFFO DEFFOOOO

My priest is at 29.2% haste, 12.14 mastery (dont remember %) and 12% crit. I always do 21-22k+ depending the fight. Just too bored to provide you with my logs, will do it later

But getting the 4-set-bonus and increasing your mastery a little will give you results. Try reforging some of your crit to mastery, if you cant reforge to haste ofc.

and NEVER NEVER let your dots drop off. That's our no1 rule!
