so its looking like we wont have server lists and you just press play and the system matches you up with other players... thats seriously LAME for diablo!!! this isnt SC2 where its just a 1v1 match or something this is an RPG

Diablo has NEVER had a server list, they have had a game list to look from. There could be anything from 1 to 100 games on 1 server at a time. We honestly wont know if its there or not till the beta, now isnt the time to complain about that since its not even out of alpha yet.

by server list i meant GAME list sorry.. for example a game would be called COWS and people would join for cows. why does blizzard want to put random dungeon finder in diablo 3

Don't worry man. An ability to join players aiming to achieve the same thing you are will have to be included in a game focused on the multiplayer game experience.
Sometimes it seems like you are forgetting that the people making D3 are the same people who made D2 and saw what worked and made a buttload of money on it aswell. Theyre not likely to disregard a golden concept just make us all angry =)

People can pick and choose to an extent in Starcraft 2 so I'm sure they will impliment the same type of function into Diablo 3.
