Where can I buy a Laptop? With good Speccs (UK)

    Hey,

So yesterday I made a forum post regarding wanting to buy a new laptop for college and gaming (Found here)

(Just if you can't be bothered to go to it - I was looking for a laptop for a good price that I could run WoW+LoL and I could photoshop/create documents on @ college, that was a max 15.6" screen size)

All the suggestions were amazing, but with the problem that all of them were US sites which don't ship to the UK (And would likely cost a lot to have them shipped over even if they did) I did a lot of looking and couldn't find some of same laptops on UK sites and the ones I could the prices were almost double ($700 dollars on the US site, £700 on the UK site - thats a big difference)

Someone also reccomended scan.co.uk but I really couldn't see any good laptops at all on the website or the hot deals.. I would wait for a nice deal on Scan.co.uk but I do need to buy the laptop before I start college next week.

My budget is around £500/max really, any help would be deeply appreciated + I'm sorry about creating a new thread, it just seemed better organised to do this for what I wanted to say

I would suggest that you check the stickies first:

Also, why start a new thread? You could have easily asked this in the other thread - really no need to create a new one.

I use an Alienware. Asus is the other brand of laptop I've heard good things about.

Mostly very good, not particularly amazing for gaming... but in the laptop range for £500 your going to be pretty limited in terms of graphics.

I'm buying mine from http://www.cyberpowersystem.co.uk/ and the "accessories" from Novatech.
But CyberPowerSystems seem to take a long long time (quote 14 working days).

http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/ seem to get good reviews... but I've never used them myself.

MSI have a Cashback deal on at the moment: http://www.msicashback.co.uk/

I got my current PC from them, great site, good value, great service and they tend to give you free stuff

all models are custom built, so you can get exactly what you want, but it may take a few days for them to do it, totally worth the wait though
Check out the blog I write for LEGENDARY Indie Label Flicknife Records:
