How do you eat and prepare popcorn?

I was just wondering for some reason, do people in other countries and parts of the world even like popcorn, and how do they prepare it?

I know some people (myself included) sometimes prepare them ourselves with oil and the corn, but there's also the bags with and without oil.

How do you prepare them, and do you have any salt/pepper or similar spices together with them?

I must admit, I've never been willing to put in the forethought to do anything except micowaveable popcorn.

Occasionally I'll dump it in a bowl, but usually just eat it out of the bag.

I eat it once a year.. or possibly even once a decade:P So toss it into microwave eat it I guess.

I'm pretty lazy when it comes to snack food so I just buy the microwaveable bags, if I've got a real sweet craving I might put a bit of sugar in and shake it all up but generally I just eat it however it comes.

I bought bacon-popcorn the other week for a friend who's obssessed with bacon. It smelt like bacon when it was popping but then ended up tasting practically the same as regular popcorn anyway.

Cinema popcorn is awesome... but, in my opinion, not worth the massively inflated price.

I'm too lazy/cba to take out a pan and put in corn +butter/oil. I prefer the bags that go in the microwave, set too 1000w, wait 3 minutes, eat, thow away the bag and done. No mess or cleaning. I eat it once a week on average. Don't like the popcorn they have in the movies though :S Tastes like cardboard with salt sometimes.

I usually fry my popcorn with oil. Fuck popcorn in bag, quality popcorn ftw. I very rarely eat popcorn and thus I like to spend time making them perfectly when I make them.

Used to Microwave it, but seeing how we no longer have a microwave but only a steam/oven (and it doesn't work, I tried xD)
So now it's pre-made popcorn from a bag, damn I miss my microwave popcorn QQ

and how I eat it? by eating the outsticking parts first and then eating the big round thing :P Also afterwards I'll gladly eat the remaining corn, yum yum.

I'm generally avoiding popcorn since I really how it gets stuck in between my teeth and flossing ain't an option.
The few times I do eat popcorn I add oil on the corn and salt them once they're done.

I had an air popper growing up, and that was pretty swell, but now it's all microwave popcorn for the vast majority.

I usually do it up with some butter and salt if it was plain when purchased, and eat it with M&Ms or other chocolate for some bites. Mmmmm salty + sweet.

when hot ad the corn and cover it.
dont stop moving it until they stop poping salt to taste and enjoy

Same here... i hate when they stuck between my teeths. + i had to quit snacking three years ago, cause i was too fat (115kg).
