a GTX 460 is one of the single best bang for your buck cards for WoW, simply put.

    Cheap but extremely effective.

    Check this page out: http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html

For its price a Radeon HD 6850 does very well.

Here's the thing: any video card that you can buy for 60 dollars or less is essentially made for an HTPC (home theater PC) and are not made for gaming in any way. The video card that you have now is designed for graphics production and other professional uses, not good for gaming - much like the cards you are currently looking at.

As others have said, you will need to spend more money for any sort of performance gain. Thee cards will begin at or around 120 dollars. If you're not looking to spend a whole lot of money, then investing in one of these lower-end video cards, such as the Radeon 6770 or the 6790, is your best bet and will give you the performance you're looking for -- the others absolutely will not.

To answer you question about low profile cards, they are cards designed for slim cases and are significantly smaller than normal video cards. They are commonly used in HTPCs.

If you want the HD5670 go with the HD6670 which is a newer generation, less expensive after MIR, and include a free game coupon. Link is here.

No doubt, recently brought one in for a customer. He gave me his Dirt 3 coupon as a tip. $40 game for free, why not eh?

So I don't start a new thread, does having my HDDs in RAID, or that my RAM is FB affect my performance?
I know that these are things that are mainly useful for server computers, so do they slow down WoW performance?

Doubt it's worth buying anything better then GTX 460 when you have such crappy CPUs - 2ghz and old architecture. CPUs will be the main bottleneck.

windows experience index gives my processors a 6.9/7.9, which i think is pretty good, but i guess there are some far better
if i ever wanted to upgrade in the future, are there newer cpus that fit the slots, or would i need a new mobo
wikipedia only shows xeons, and core 2 extremes being able to fit in it, and i haven't really heard anything about the second, so i am guessing i would eventually need a new mobo
