it has 2048MB in the name but in the memory it says "Memory: 1024MB". can anyone explain this?

another question. My computer has an AMD CPU and a ASRock mobo 890GX i think. It's AMD based. Will I lose anything if I put an Nvidia GPU instead of an AMD GPU? Sorry i'm noob at this ^^

I'm not sure about the memory thing, but there won't be many drawbacks of putting an nvidia card in an AMD board. However, with that chipset, you will not be able to SLI in the future if you wanted to drop in a second card. With the 890gx chipset I'm fairly sure you could crossfire later if you went with an equivalent AMD card.
Intruders detected. Primary defense matrix initiated.

virtual? and unless you're running a old processor it could bottleneck but i doubt you're using something old enough to do that.

Typo on the memory size, only problem is there's no way to see which part is the typo (though it's probably a typo in the spec, not the name).

As for NVIDIA card in an AMD system, no, no drawbacks. I don't know if any AMD boards support SLI, but performance wise a single card will be the exact same speed.
    Super casual.
