Close but the Namek Saga ends up when Captain Ginyu saga begins and Freeza start when that one stops and stop at Garlic Jr. Saga

Cpt Ginyu have like 7 episodes or something like that and Namek focused more on Vegeta than Freeza if I'm wrong correct me but I'm pretty sure tho isn't it?

Cell, but it's very tied-in with Android.

I personally see the sagas as Saiyan -> Freeza on Namek -> Android/Cell (including Trunks vs Freeza) -> Buu.
Of course there are smaller stories within each and some transition stories, but sagas are more than just short stories.

I'm a huge fan of the Frieza saga. I felt cheated when Trunks beat Frieza in two episodes.

lol I agree Frieza saga was beast imo in par with cell and but those were my favourite

Having to decide between Frieza and Cell is absolutely horrid. D:

I went with Frieza though. Favorite scene has to be when Goku first transforms to Super Saiyan. It's almost as good as Gohan's SS2 transformation in the Cell saga. Android 16 is a hero.

Something I noticed in the Frieza saga, Frieza begins the fight calm and composed, occasionally making monkey jokes about saiyans. As the fight goes on, Frieza gets angrier and wilder, eventually acting and sounding very apelike himself, even though he still insists Goku is the monkey. I'm not sure if it was intentional but I found it interesting.

I really just think of it as 4 sagas

Saiyan Saga
Freiza Saga
Android/Cell Saga
Buu Saga


you also forgot the short-lived "Garlic Jr Saga" (I just merge that with android)


The Android/Cell Saga was good because everything seemed to be established while adding some slight bonuses like Future Trunks. Freiza was ok but the whole namek stuff was a lot of nothing for a long time, the best part was Vegetas story everything else was lacking until Goku went Super Saiyan. The Buu saga is when things started getting weird with "unexpected" power jumps (Gohans power unlocked again! except now he dosn't go SS anymore!?) from new or improved players, and many others forgotten.

Android saga, they played no games. next is Cell, had my favorite attack in the series (final flash)

Cell most definitely, but Freeza as a close second. Loved Cell cause it's the saga we got to see Gohan shine and show how powerful he really can be. Freeza saga was epic for the fact it was the first time we get to see a super saiyan in the series, and honestly I thought that was built up rather nicely.

glad I'm not the only one who sees it that way.

There is clear breaks in that way of thinking whereas with others there is great overlap in what could be considered Android or Cell? or Fusion or Buu?
