I myself tried yesterday to increase the fps from ~30 to a more smooth framerate, so i searched for some advice on google and there someone said that disabling v-sync doent do any difference when you use a tft, so i disabled it and tada, 60+ fps with all on ultra, but its patch 3.3.5a so i dunno that it works on retail, but i think it can help much to increase the framerate. also playing with little to no addons is an increase to the fps.

I have a i7-860 and a GTX460 and overclocked the video card and runs everything on max settings for WoW. It may have just been my computer but when i had the video card with stock settings i was not able to run WoW on max settings and directx11. only max on directx9 The card is cheap now.
