Normal mode nerfs wont make it any easier, ppl already are overgeared for the encounter if they cant down it there are some other problems...

Im pretty sure they arent talking about guilds who started 4.2 in heroic 4.0 gear and therefore probably many of the raiders are still probably in 365-370il which is not by any means overgearing Ragnaros seeing as he drops il 384 gear.
So congrats to you for beiing in such a progressed gear where everyone overgeared it but from a social raiding point of view not everyone is in that position.
And to the op to be honest they will probably be nerfing firelands when 4.3 comes out so that everyone will be able to clear it then same as they did for BOT, BWD and TOT4W and thats why they wont nerf it in the mean time

Well, my 10m group started out with 1 HM down (Halfus) and we outgeared rag 3 weeks into the raid. and now we are 5/7 heroic
