Also, the one thing I was most excited for, Garrisons, just ended up looking like an iphone game. It seemingly has no choice and of course there will be an ideal set up in the end.

dont listen to anyone who tells you this. there is no ideal setup for garrisons outside of prof buildings and maybe the barn depending on certain people. pretty much everything for garrisons is vanity stuff and the stuff that isnt is only really useful for non raiders

garrisons are great, only thing they need is a bit more customization and theyve said theyre working on things like special holiday themed decorations you can get during the holidays, more guards for all the classes, more vanity decorations and statues and stuff.

plus moving the garrison in a future patch. gonna be great

You always start with calm mind! (most of the enemy mons will switch) + Mega evolution
Also you cant get interupted by fake out!!! And any other CC will go back at the enemy pokemon if they try.
If you dont have at least 2+ Sp.defense boost you will NOT survive a weakest fairy! Even with 6+ you will get 3koed. But in this situation you can win. (needs 2 hits too kill unboosted sylveon)

However you can counter pretty much any pokemon. (yes even mega venusaur due too 50% less damage from poision attacks)
Because you lose prankster when mega evolving i removed the recover. (too slow too use)
The trick is too boost yourself as much as posible. Most people wont send any melle types, because of fear of getting burned. (you dont have it, but they dont know that)

I did some runs with recover, will-o wisp, knock off...but its just not worth it. If you burn someone and you have a slow recover (like aggron for example), he will stil kick your ass in mega form. You just need prankster in this situation.
