Where do I download Windows 7 if I have a valid key?

No im not asking for a pirated version. Long story my computer had problems I reformated to default which is Vista and I was running Windows 7 before the format. I bought Windows 7 from Microsofts student discount sales they had a year back, and they redircted me to some 3rd party website to download it off but, when I try to use that site it says that it no longer exists and redirects me to Microsoft. On my Live account under purchases it doesn't show that I purchased it either and whenever I try to download it off Microsofts web site it keeps asking me to pay full price.

TL;DR where is a site I can download it since I have a valid key I payed for?

Well, as long as you have a valid key you can download your version of windows 7 even from a pirated source, just don't use the crack.

I wish you luck, but if you don't have the license number you may be boned. Especially in light of Microsoft Live not recognizing that you own a copy.

Download it from any torrent site. It's not piracy unless you use a loader to bypass the CD-key part.
Or better yet - Install gentoo.

Exactly. You're allowed to download any movie, game, music, program, whatever from any source on the internet if you own a legal copy already. It gets illegal once you download something you don't own and bypass the authentication. As an example, my dad has every AC-DC album released, and in stead of spending an entire weekend ripping them to mp3 so he can use them in his car (everything on a USB stick), I downloaded the albums in 320 kbps mp3 in two hours. Perfectly legal as we have physical copies sitting in our living room. At least that's how the Danish law works..

Actually, it's illegal to download and bypass authentication (in many nations at least), regardless of intention and regardless of whether you own a key or not. Though this is inconsequential for the OP; he doesn't seem to have any plans of trying to bypass it.

Different countries have different laws. Over here it's perfectly legal to download anything on the internet, though there are plans to change that.

Edit: To the OP, just download an 'illegal' version and use your own key.

Actually in the US it does matter. Even with a valid key, it's still considered illegal to get it from an unauthorized source. Making a copy of your own disc is legal, but again, downloading a copy from TPB isn't.

Download any version which doesn't contain RemoveWAT.

Doesn't matter if you do it from MS or any /link-torrents/ site
