Depending on how soon a subbed version of the DBZ movie comes out and how often TFS updates, I'd estimate around late summer to mid fall to get that many posts. Of course, you should also consider the 8001st post, as over 8k is the canon version.

One thing that bugs me is that during the sayian saga gohans tail continuously regrows yet after that point just stops. Its the same for goku in dragonball his tail regrows upto a certain point then stops. Is it an age thing?

It's most likely age related, as I don't think I've seen an adult Saiyan regrow their tail. Goku did in GT, but he was in kid form at the time.

Back to the thread. Man even the training in GT is absurd. They pull out his tail with giant tongs and he gets stronger? I have all these taped episodes of GT but I can't force myself to sit down and watch them because the show is just so boring : /

Dragon Ball Z 2013 Movie Update" Bils knew about Goku 39 years before the events in the movie.

Also North American gets DBZ coloured manga. (digital versions) off the english shonen jump website. its like 25$ for all the issues with a year subscription or something. idk, I'm thinking about getting it if someone can grasp an understanding of how it works to me.

According to the dragon ball wikia timeline, Goku was born in the Age 737 and defeated Frieza in the Age 762, when he was 25. Buu was destroyed in the Age 774, when Goku was 37 (plus a year for Hyperbolic Time Chamber, so 38). Apparently Bils faces them sometime between Ages 776 and 779, so Goku is about 40, and beat Frieza roughly 15 years ago.

If Bils knew about him 39 years ago, then assuming the movie takes place in Age 776, he knew when Goku was born. Maybe Broly wasn't the only person who listen to him cry as a child.

So we could infer that he either saw goku as a child or his birth... imagine goku's mom was in the movie, ermergerd.

Or he saw goku escape vegeta to earth.

In the video games, Bils always comes in after frieza uses the finisher he used to destroy planet vegeta. I think we're gonna see Bils appear right after the destruction of planet vegeta in a flash back or something

I've heard that the explanation (I can't remember if it was Toriyama that gave the explanation) is that Saiyan tails are a recessive trait, so few hybrid-Saiyans are born with them.

Anyways, apparently Akira Toriyama wrote a letter saying that the new movie is revenge for the live-action movie (Dragon Ball Evolution).
