I just picked up DBKai... god some of the dubbed voices are dreadful... and I'm only at first episode xD bulma and gohan sound especially bad...

that was one of the things i hated the most. horrible voices. they even changed frieza, he sounds fucking ridiculous now.

so far I'm having mixed feelings about it... on the one hand I like that it looks crisper and cleaner but I liked the colors in the remastered version more xD
hey I just realized something .... why doesn't king kai just instant transmission goku to earth after his training? he says later in the show that he can do it too...

Well it says Dub in my post... and I guess if it wasn't obvious it's english... didn't even know there are others lol xD
anyway I'mma finish it, am at the end of sayian saga now(gohan is about to go ape) but tbh I'm quite disappointed... they cut out so much
some of the scenes that were actually good too not just boring filler ones...

Kai Freeza sounds SO much better than Funimation dub. For Abridged fans, I'm surprised you don't see the resemblance to LittleKuriboh's version. At the least, you should be used to the voice.

kai frieza doesn't sound evil really. he sounds like a whiney brat...
linda frieza sounds asexual. when you first see him and for a while after you don't know he's male, and that adds to the character. it makes him a truly alien enemy.

That's my main problem with him... he lacks personality imo in KAI... maybe I'm just too used to the FUN original dub but that one made me actually feel the character and his evilness with his old lady voice... Originally Posted by derpkitteh
