Wait a minute, before the filler episodes start counting up to the cell games, bulma cuts future trunks hair.

But, in the episode where the cell games begins he has long hair again, did he go to the hyperbolic time chamber again?

I'm pretty sure Vegeta and Trunks both gave the chamber a second go before the Cell Games, and maybe Piccolo as well. Goku and Gohan chose not to.

Also....I know android 16 was created to kill Goku, but he chose not to.

They probably increased, but not enough to make a difference. If they had been able to reach FPSS like Goku and Gohan did, they probably would have been as strong or stronger than Goku.

16 is relatively emotionless he just tends to care about things like animals. ALso maybe gero did not want 16 blinded by hate

Maybe Gero just sucks at programming. He's pretty good at making powerful weapons and advanced androids and cyborgs, but literally can't program to save his own life. His only creations that followed his orders are the ones who like their orders.

yeah 19 was an easy choice i dont think he had any thinking capacity. 16 i dont know how he was uncontrollable. i totally get 17 and 18 since they were humans turned into cyborgs and mad.


I kinda want to see a weird gt with future trunks. kinda like with multiverse where he wakes up 16 so he can have help, exept years later he gets dabura, tapion, and ledgic to make a new group of z fighters

would be kinda cool as a fan fic

When Goku and 16 first meet in the funimation dub anime, he says something like I was programmed to destroy you, but im choosing not to. Than if im not mistaken he says something like cell is a monster who is threatening the innocent of this planet (such as animals) than says Goku seeks to protect it, and thats why, apparently.

also a lot of us are americans he wrote plenty of other stuff thats not as big here in the U.S.

I know I said earlier in the thread: The DB manga finished in Japan in 1995. Well before we even got it. He explicitly said he wanted to move on from DB.

Also, most of these authors have their stories planned pretty far in advance. So details probably slip to the back of their minds in the grand scheme of things.

unlike bleach...... oh this characters popular i cant do anything with them! LET THEM LIVE AFTER BEING CUT IN HALF!

or naruto where they must do a detailed filler arch for every guys past and put a bad love story into it and so many twists that make no sense. itachi was so popular they made him a good guy instead.
