How to get RaidIndex

I wonder if anyone knows if it is possible to get the RaidIndex of someone in your raid by giving their character name or a UnitId like "target" or "mouseover" as input.
I've tried finding something myself but with no luck. I only found functions that get other things, such as raid target index.
The reason I want to get the RaidIndex of a unit is so that I can use it in a macro/script to change the target of an IceHUD mana bar that is supposed to show the mana of my healer teammates. And as far as I know I can't just write their name, it has to be some kind of UnitId.
Maybe I should just switch focus totally and forget about IceHUD, but I like what it provides so I thought I'd at least ask here before I change strategy.

So my question is as follows: Do anyone know of a function, or some other method, to get a units RaidIndex in a macro/script?

If they're in your party/raid, their name is a valid unitID.
