Is a death match
It can be where you have 10 people in an arena or there can even be 20 or 40 in it but let’s just start with 10 people
But what makes this different from just a regular old arena would be there are no teams. It's everyone vs. everyone
else and the last one to live wins there can be obstacles where you can be out of sight and have elevators and
bridges. And they could also add traps like flames that spew out of the ground and or the walls kind of like the ones in
Zul'Gurub and cause just as much damage and they could add fire missiles or frost missiles where you have to make
sure your out of sight so you don’t take any damage or get freeze so your opponent would nuke on you and they can
be fired at anywhere, kind of like the airship battle in ICC. Molotov’s can also be thrown into the death match that
causes fire aoe or poison aoe damage and you would have to get out of it as fast as possible, kind of like the saying in
raids don’t stand in the fire and they could add saw blades and you run into them they cause damage too and you
have all of those things going at once just to make it even more intense and it would require more thinking and you
would have to be careful where you’re at it would rule out the face rollers. And they could also have buffs like you get
in warsong glutch. There can also be a damage debuff in the death match where all damage caused by players is
decreased by let’s just say for an example 30% which also stacks with resilience just to make death matches last
longer when you have to go against 9 other people in a death match and those other 9 are also against themselves
and for every player that’s down the debuff will wear off by 3% until there are only two people left then all you have
left is your resilience for defense. And what about balance you say? well it wouldn’t really matter if a holy pally has to
go against everyone and is being nuked by 5 other people and you would still have to watch out for missiles or traps and
players with death match buffs, Molotov’s , and saws at the same time, that could be said for frost mages and feral
druids they would still have to be on there toes and not die from enviromental damage. and the last one to survive could get rewards like bonus HK's, arena points, titles, achievements, mounts, and even random gear drops that are based according to your class and it can include other random loot drops besides gear as well.
basically what im saying is put raid mechanics into arenas without making it too much like a raid for the fact that you
would still have to go against 9 other people who are against themselves (survival of the fittest). I think it would work cause its different the traditional wow pvp.
and out wow back into its golden days of an mmo
what do you guys think i think it would something cool to see.
just throwing out ideas.
