Minecraft 1.8 village question.

What biomes are they found in? how rare are they? and how do you find one?

They are found in all biomes. And i have found 2 villages in a few hours of playtime. But you should just know there is nothing to do in them. No NPC's before 1.9 and half of the buildings is bugged.

I've mostly found villages in biomes with few trees - grasslands, deserts, etc. As far as I know they can spawn anywhere, but I would definitely recommend checking flat land first. Just wander around, eventually you'll come across one.

There are a few different kinds of buildings you can get in your village; a few are so tiny you can maybe fit just a bed or a double storage chest in there, others are nice, big houses you can really make a home out of. One model has a workbench and bookshelves.

All villages also come with pre-planted, irrigated, and growing wheat farms!

I've been playing on an island map. There was one tree that I luckily got a sappling from and started a forest.

Set draw distance to normal instead of far. Fixed everything for me.
