Does my computer have the real W7?

I just got a new HDD and OS, and I just put the CD in at boot and it all worked. Only thing is I put skip for the CD Key cause I was in a hurry to get it going and now I don't know how to put the key in. If anyone can tell me where I can find that?

even if it isn't - there's no difference. if it is, it will ask for the key in 30 days.

so instead of using the new key can i DL W8 to test it and then go back?

1. Open the start menu.
2. Right click on my computer.
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page that pops up and there should be something along the lines of change product key. Click it.
4. Type in the key.
5. Done.


At least that's how I remember it.

Windows 8 isn't a working OS for a while. It's a developer preview, which is pre-beta, which is the first stage of public testing.

oh just wanted to try it but its okay already used my key
