Is it possible that the Tauren captain of a ship during The Dragon Soul raid could be Mr.Smite's return? The way this sentence was put made it cross my mind, note how they mention him as an "imposing tauren" who is "captain" of a ship. Sounds like Mr.Smite traits to me. Has anyone else thought this as well?Players will pursue Deathwing by riding a gunship as he tries to flee. The Twilight’s Hammer will try to intercept the players, and an imposing tauren general of Twilight’s Hammer will be the main antagonist of this encounter.

Although Warcraft lore has been stranger in some cases, I seriously doubt that Blizzard would put a character who could be considered a joke in as one of the later bosses of the final tier of an expansion.

notice how I said "Although Warcraft lore has been stranger in some cases". Although his dialogue was comical, lore wise, he made more sense than pulling a seemingly random toon out of a low level dungeon and putting him with Deathwing. Originally Posted by Underskilled
