Why trade chat is good for humanity

I have discovered the evolutionary purpose for trade chat.

By housing the ingrates that populate trade chat, Blizzard has managed to keep enough of them occupied for long enough to allow a miracle to happen.

I think Blizzard should be commended for their work in cleaning up the gamer gene pool for so long.

On a more serious note, Isn't it amazing what can happen when a bunch of gamers get together to solve a problem?

Yes yes, I know, the sky just bonked you on the head, casuals are taking over the government, and some baddie just got a raid drop... I think you'll live.

Too bad most "gamers" are bumbling morons that can't seem to figure out the simplest procedures.

And these aren't really "gamers" in the sense. These people are playing a game where they have to play with chains of amino acids; these are probably composed of scientists and college students who are studying scientific fields.

Your typical gamer is much less talented.

This. The game is specifically designed for that.

I'd like to point out that it isn't "typical" gamers who create games.
