My file is gone, [Help!]

Hello champs
long story short: this morning i sat at my pc surfing on the internet and i checked out a program i had in my folder(got almost everything on this file like music/movies/games etc).
then i went to the school, and when i got home my folder strangely is gone, its not even in the Recycle Bin.
so any tips for what happend to my folder?

do you mean folder? maybe you managed to move it into another folder or maybe you cut it out and pasted it somewhere else?
Check all the folders you have been in or use the search function in windows, if you have windows 7 you can push the windows button and type the name there. hope this might help

Do a search for the file/folder name.
Run a system restore to a previous date when the file / folder existed.
Run a recovery program such as Recuva on the hard drive where the file/folder existed.

Haven't figured it out yet , any more ideas? (already tried Data Recovery program and Recuva, even tried system restore but no sucsess)

Cops breaking into your home deleting your pirated stuff. Duh..

Can try GetDataBack NTFS otherwise I am out of ideas.

My folder had merged with another folder so i finally figured out, thanks for trying to help me out.
