How much gold do you have?

I currently have around 130k I used to play the AH but haven't bothered in months.

i bought all the firelands BOE recipes introduced in 4.2 and then hooked my friends and alts with the BOE epic weapons/trinkets/gear

that cost a pretty penny and i havent fully recovered but then again what's the point of gold if you can't spend it

The gold is cap is around 2 million, and to be honest it does not matter if you reached the gold cap on 2 different realms (although it is an incredibly feat...).
I would imagine the average person has around 50-100k spread around all chars.

I've got around 150k or so on my bankchar. Add another 20-30k spread on the rest of my toons.

Most of this is due to elementium ore shuffle, while branching out from it into ench/alch/tailoring to gain some ground on different markets.

That is a crazy amount. Money used to be a lot more valuable (in Vanilla, you were rich if you had 100g, for example) so let's say he started 5 years or 1800 days ago. He had to make around 5k a day to get to 7.9 million, every single day at least 1 or 2 hours. For 5 years. I'm not saying it is impossible, but no person could ever have that dedication, that determination for what is essentially virtual money.

I mean, I am serious about money making, close to obsessed. But there are days that I can't be arsed or business is slow, or I'm on vacation, or tired, or I spend money... Because at the end of the day, it's just in-game money. Nothing more. Playing the AH is just a way to spend time in an exciting way.

Let me think, I believe I have about 90k on my old realm that I rarely plays on anymore. On my current realm I only have 35k, but it isn't that bad since I started from 0 about 6 months ago and I don't really try to earn gold other than by selling random stuff that I don't need.

About 20k atm, had about 100k but then decided to switch main, so I bought few epics and crafts. I prospect ore and craft jewelry for vendoring/disenchanting, requires little effort (with some unfair software, but w/e) and yields good profit.

141k. Too lazy to do more, so just transmuting volatile life to air on 2 alchemist alts every day and selling it with some nice profit.

Little over 4mil now, dont really spend much, made around 500k from fortune cards another 250k-300k from botters nuking the price of herbs which i made darkmoon decks from, then a good 1mil-1.5mil from solo farming FL25 trash on an ele shaman of 10 minute runs id usually get at least 2-3 epics per 2 runs sold most for upwards of 40k each a solid hour of farming usually amounted for around 150-200k. I'd suggest taking advantage of good situations if you want to have lots of gold.

i keep buying stuff so two of my three character have only 10kis in gold, thats horde side. my alliance chacter has 43k now, she been luck with tank bags, pets selling for 10k and alike :P
