The main thing that sucks "about Braun" is that his hall of fame chances went out the window but IDK why they keep these guys out when there coveted players from the 20's-70's that cheated. You think the black sox was the only team that got paid to lose a game I don't esp in the 20's-40' when crime was crazy. I don't even want to go into corked bats(Albert Belle),pine tar(G.Brett),spit balls(Preacher Roe),vaseline ball (gaylord parry HOF pff), sandpaper and nailfile(Niekro). The only difference is back then they where suspended for 10 games and fined 250 bucks now its like 50 games and a couple million depending on there salary.

It isn't like most everyone from all those eras wasn't using their performance enhancement drug of the day. 90s-2000s we had steroids. Now we have testosterone and high tech stuff. Hank Aaron has openly admitted to using greenies or amphetamines during his playing day along with everyone else in the league. Babe Ruth played against only white guys who worked in delis or packing plants after the game. Baseball has always had performance enhancing something in the league from steroids, to amphetamines, to no black players. Every player in every era deserves an asterisk if they are going to try and assign one to Bonds, McGwire, and now Bruan.
