    Minecraft Transparency bug :(

I've recently had this bug in Creative mode, when flying around.

And yes, I have checked google for answers but couldn't find a direct answer as why this happens. I'm not extremely clever when it comes to computers, and I'm hoping someone know of this bug and how to fix it.

My own opinion or hypotesis is that I lack memory, because this only happens in Creative mode where Minecraft uses more memory.

    So, here is my spec.

    OPERATING SYSTEM:
    Windows XP (Yes I don't have windows 7 /lol)
    CPU TYPE:
    AMD Phenom(tm) 8650 Triple-Core Processor
    CPU SPEED:
    2.32 GHz
    SYSTEM MEMORY:
    3 GB
    VIDEO CARD MODEL:
    NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX
    VIDEO CARD DRIVER:
    nv4_disp.dll
    DESKTOP RESOLUTION:
    1920x1080
    HARD DISK SIZE:
    465.75 GB
    HARD DISK FREE SPACE:
    371.4 GB (80%)
    DOWNLOAD SPEED:
    280.97 kB/s (2.3 mbps)

PS: Yes I do have the latest drivers relevant for minecraft. Thank you for your help/expertise regarding my problem oh and btw: While this bug have obvious advantages it's still very annoying.

They are chunk load errors, "world holes", just go back to title screen and log back in, should be fine.

You either flew into the ground, enabling that, or as Narna said, its a chunk error.

I remember the big square world holes in the middle of everything, great way to look for minerals!

1.8.1 is really buggy, but I believe there was a patch due on the 25th.
Well that's just typical. Ten minutes before the most important party of my life, and half the house has been destroyed by a giant sandwich.

I used to have that problem all the time, especially when using a flying mod and traveling long distances. Seemed to me like it was a memory issue as shortly after I would get the "Java has ran out of memory" error and would have to restart the game. Worked just fine after that. Like others mentioned though it is a great way to see the underground system without actually walking into it.
