Willing to Self Build or a Pre-Built:Local computer store will build it for a few £

How much you want to spend:£500 - £600

How much you can spend: ^

What all you plan to use it for: Wow Internet Browsing

What Operating system you want to use & Bit: No idea what this means

What Resolution you hope to be in: Well im currently playing in 1024 x 768

What Settings do you Want & how much FPS: Id like to play WOW in high and be able to play MW3 at a decent rate

    What Country are you from:UK

What can you re-use: No Idea

Network will be wired or wireless: Wired

    Any Additional Info Here:
    Currently I have this
    Windows XP (WIN 32)
    Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) 8550 Triple-Core Processor, MMX, 3DNow (3 CPUs), ~2.2GHz

Yeh, you pretty much want a new computer. There aren't any parts there which are really worth keeping. Probably the main thing you want to focus on is you CPU as that is what WoW makes the most use of. Try looking at the Intel i5 series of CPUs as they should be able to cope with what you want to do, and they're not that expensive That gfx card could probably be okay if you wanted just WoW, but since you want to play MW3 at high FPS, I can't imagine that card is going to be able to cut it.

It means what operating system do you want to use. The "& Bit" part means whether you want a 32 bit OS or a 64 bit OS. Without going into too much detail, you basically want to get a 64 bit OS (probably Windows 7 - 64 bit) as you'll be limited to under under 4GB of RAM if you get a 32 bit version.

But honestly, if you don't even know what the questions mean, I would seriously recommend against you going out and buying single parts and getting them put together. If you're willing to research and find out what these things mean, then maybe it would work. Otherwise, you'd be better of just going with a pre-built PC off somewhere like Overclockers.

Hi thanks for the quick response I agree I will not be building it myself been reading how to and well looks very complicated to say the
least ive checked over-clock and seen some computers that are in my range see what you think and will it do what I want it to ?

As I cant link URL here is the name

"Cataclysm Hogger" Intel Core i3 550 3.20GHz DDR3 MMO Gaming System

    "Titan Xenomorph" Intel Core i3 550 3.20GHz DDR3 System - V3.0

Also would i need to upgrade them for the SSD Drive ? And would windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit be ok ?

Both of those are last generation processors, so I can't outright recommend them.

What is the actual site you are using?

    Case: CoolerMaster Haf 912 $59.99
    Power Supply: Corsair TX650 $89.99
    Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z68X UD-3 $169.99
    Processor: Intel i5 2500k $219.99
CPU Cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper 212 $49.99
    RAM: G.Skill Sniper Low Voltage 8GB $84.99
Hard Drive: Samsung Spinpoint F3 $64.99
Optical Disc Drive: Sony Optiarc SATA DVD/CD Burner $19.99
Graphics Card: MSI GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozr $249.99
    Total: 1009.91 USD

Drop the Mobo down to p67-gd55

    From Sweet Spot Build

Buy it from Novatech and get yer shop to assemble it. Try to get a student friend to get Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit for you for super cheap.

sorry, I'm at overclock.co.uk and do not see any full systems there, can't find anything with the search. Basically, you want an i3 2100 if you want intel for cheap - the other i processors are last generation, limit upgrades, and don't perform nearly as well.

Well, they don't have a single system with a 2100.

This would be good - you NEED one of the upgraded GPU's (460 or 6950), but both are out of stock.

Overclockers don't sell an i3 2100 system, only an older dual core.

If you want it pre-built, you'd be better off going with scan.co.uk as they have a i3 2100 setup.

I can give you a direct link but here is the page.

    http://www.scan.co.uk/value-systems?_s_icmp=wSLgUI8x

You could get the "Scan Value System V15" with a 6870 graphics card for £573.32 inc VAT.
Or if you can add £35 to your budget you could look at getting the "Scan Value System V20" with a 6870 for £634.52 inc VAT.

I'd recommend scan over overclockers, due to personal experience with both, and the pricing on scan is always better(Cheaper).

I did post an image. They have a custom builder there. I setup a 2100 build that is nice but needs a different GPU.

Personally i would swerve the cataclysm PCs.
They are good, but it seems like extra money being tagged on because of the name.

I've been saving up for a computer on your budget and the xenomorph is the best option i found.

It won't let me post a link but you can find it at overclockers, click systems and bundles and then gaming systems.
If you sort by price you'll see it at the top as the 'Titan Xenomorph'.

You want to upgrade the graphics to the 460, and then the operating system and SSD are up to you.
I'll be buying this on thursday when i get paid finally with windows 7 installed (which youll need for DX11 to improve your graphics).
As someone mentioned above, you can get windows 7 for cheap from students, but i only managed to find upgrade editions, which require you to have an existing version of windows installed.

As for the SSD, it will make the whole thing boot up in about 15 seconds and warcraft will load in an instant, but being on a budget like myself, it's more of a luxury that you should probably think about getting later down the road.

It's currently on special offer this week for just under 600 with the 460 graphics and windows 7.
It's the best setup i have managed to find so far for the price.

    Hope that helped.

I saw, that but just wanted to give him the scan.co.uk pre-builts aswell, since they're better value for money in my opinon. The first one I mention is stronger than the OCuk one you linked, whilst also been cheaper, otherwise for £30 than you OCuk build he could get a quaad core from scan.

The barracuda is an ok drive - replace it with a Samsung Spinpoint F3 is able.
Step up the motherboard to H67 chipset at least, and I would recommend an i5 2500/2500k over the 2400.

http://www.scan.co.uk/todayonly/inde..._icmp=AkaIX3H4 look at the first computer there (It's a No-Brainer!) for £467 and you can add a 560 ti from scan http://www.scan.co.uk/products/1gb-g...hdmi-plusfree- for £180 for a total of £647 and that would be a great computer but just be aware that those are just parts and you would have to assemble them or get a computer shop to assemble it for you.
