Tattoo on hand preventing me from getting jobs?

Alright, so I've been thinking about getting the Triforce from Legend of Zelda on my hand, as a tattoo, but my mom was like "A tattoo on your hand will prevent people from hiring you, employers don't like that". I can understand some tattoos being a concern, but something so simple as the triforce?

Is she right? Will this become a problem when trying to get a job? (If I do get it)

Certain jobs will not hire you for a hand tattoo, straight up. Not sure what your career goals are but you will probably want to reconsider.

As a huge legend of zelda fan, and a former tattoo artist i can tell you that a hand tattoo is a terrible idea. Put it on your arm(thats where my hylian crest is), you will thank me later.

It really depends a lot on which kind of job you're looking at. But generally, it will make things more complicated.

It might very well prevent you from getting a job. It depends a lot on what job you are applying to. If you are applying to a job at the local McDonalds it probably wont do much but if you are applying for a job where you wear a suit etc. it might become an issue.

Depends on the job, but if you have to do with customers and if they'll be able to see your hands, then yeah...
Visible tattoos can be a rather big hindrance in trying to get a job... and your hands are, in most cases, visible.

yes it will be a problem. dont expect to be able to explain it to some ppl. they just see a tatoo and put you in a certain niche, which may prevent them from hiring you.

speaking as someone who has a couple tatoos, but i got them in spots where they are not seen at first sight

Despite being awesome by literally copying the whole "Triforce on back of hand" thing, you'll be thankful you put it somewhere else.
Still wondering why I play this game.
I'm a Rogue and I also made a spreadsheet for the Order Hall that is updated for BfA.

put it on shoulder where it won't be seen while you'll be at work/job interview and it will be all right..

Some places will not hire you with tattoos on hands/neck, you know visable areas. Get it on your arm or leg

She is correct, many places will not hire you if you have a tattoo that cannot be covered up. Get it on your upper arm, no problem then.

dude dont get it on ya hand unless ya know for 100% sure it wont effect ya finacial life hell for most ppl tattoo's still have a stigma as bad and it's going to be a rly long time before it fully accepted

my advise is dont get any tats on a place ya cant cover up aka no neck head hands arms(shoulder and upper arms might be exepctions

but there is 1 away to avoid it and just get the tats ya want any where and wel that is to be the boss of ya own company :P

(sry for my bad engrish :P)(also i got a few tats but my boss is only alright with them becaus i can cover them up

Tattoos are awesome as long as you can cover them up as needed. Some companies will "discriminate" people with openly visible tattoos. I have 4 tattoos and all of them can be hidden by clothes. Some companies look at it as being presentable.

i would say its best to out one where its not so visible, but it depends on the type of job, some employers dont like people who are going to be seeing customers to have things like tatoos and piercing, but it shouldnt matter if its say an office job. why not get a job, then get a tatoo :P

i would still go for it on the arm or something where its not so visible though.

get a tattoo that's easy to show off when you want to, but easy to hide when you need to
I got mine on my lower arm, I can hide it by wearing long sleeves or show it with short sleeves

Not everyone knows what the Triforce is. Nor do they care. If you want to mark yourself with that symbol, you might want to put it in an area that is not so visible.
