I think this is the right place as it is kind of funny.

World of Warcraft has taken over my head! My girlfriend was being sweet, something along the lines of "How did we get so lucky with each other!", you know girlfriend stuff and the only response I could think of was

RNG

How does this mean wow has taken over your head? You just think that you found each other by change and expressed it in words you're used to using. When people use a certain vocabulary much, it becomes prevalent.

I use to think it meant "roll need/greed" but it does in fact mean Random Number Generator.

I suppose in a way, I was close enough.
