Background of <Ace of Spades>

We are a Vanilla guild, founded in 2005, originating from Bloodfeather realm, Alliance, with a greatly fun atmosphere.
Since creation Ace of Spades has always emphasized that quality is more important than quantity.

In Vanilla we cleared every boss including full AQ40 & full Naxxramas 40 clear, as well as farming all world bosses on regular basis.

In TBC we cleared full Serpent Shrine Cavern, Tempest Keep, Mount Hyjal, Black Temple & Sunwell Plateau.

At the start of WotLK we raided as a 10man guild and cleared ToGC10 & Ulduar10 HC including Algalon at the time of progression. We then progressed back into 25man raiding and cleared 10/12 HC ICC25.


What we expect from you

- Talent spec that is either a cookie cutter or justifiable (you will be questioned if you deviate from a cookie cutter).
- Both primary professions near or at their cap.
- Very stable internet connection.
- The knowledge to min/max, theory craft and the desire to strive to be the best your class can be.

Our raids occur Sunday through Thursday from 19:30-00:00, with invites starting at 19:15 sharp.
You must be able to attend 80% of raids. We understand that real life gets in the way at times, but overall, you must be active.

We're looking to recruit people who will remain with us in the long-term. A number of our members have been playing together for over five years and we strongly want to continue that trend.

Attitude and intelligence go a long way, and even if you can pump out 18,000 DPS and hold down a 2300+ arena team, if you can't carry on a simple conversation or if you talk down to the people we play with without offering genuine constructive advice, don't bother applying. Most of Ace of Spades members are in their 20's, but age isn't an important factor for us. If you can show up, perform well, and show maturity, it doesn't matter if you're still in high school or not. With that said, if you live under the constant threat of being grounded, or sent to bed early, then you aren't what we're looking for either.

Gear is an important factor, but it is not our primary concern, as said previously, we prefer quality over quantity, and that goes for skill & effort compared to gear also. If you show that you have correctly organised your character in terms of enchants, gems & talents to be the best it can be, with or without the highest level gear, you will be considered.
