You sound a bit to dramatic there. It sounds like you cant play properly on an AMD gpu atm, which is not true.

Need to be short and to the point on this forum because of all nitpickers.

Most people can, but some are more sensitive to the jerkiness in motion and can't figure out why that happens when the cards performs well in benchmarks.
Never going to log into this garbage forum again as long as calling obvious troll obvious troll is the easiest way to get banned.
    Trolling should be.

And they're done soon. They just pushed that to show they knew how to and wherein the problem lied. They did to tell the community "relax, we know how. And we do these games since these were the ones you use for testing so you can verify it" not to "make them look better in tests"

I see it as a proof of concept, they proved they can do it but we just don't know how long it will take for them to do it for all games.

what would the corsair equivalent of the antect p280 be?

    ---------- Post added 2013-01-25 at 04:17 AM ----------

also the msi geforce gtx 670 power edition is an amazing card. it might even be better than the gigabyte version listed in marests build
    Milk was a bad choice.

Obsidian 550D is the only dampened case of Corsair.

Mind expanding on that? Why should he switch them if the Gigabyte is perhaps equally as good? The Gigabyte's is on a 680's PCB, after all.

MSI TwinFrozr cards are rubbish. MSI needs to stop using powerlogic fans before i even think about buying one again. Those bearings start to rattle/squeak after 6months and there is nothing you can do about it. Also, even though they OC like a champ at the start, they don't stay stable for long.

    *coughs*

I've had an MSI Twin Frozr II GTX 560 Ti OC for now almost 2 years and the fans are fine. It's stable. It's going strong.

Sorry, not all are the same!

I've had three, the same issues, same timespan. Either you're not iffy about noise (the noise is not really apparent), or you're lucky. The fans are horrible by default, one person not having issues (i sincerely doubt it, but whatever) does not make them somehow OK. Just google PowerLogic fans and you get the gist of it.

With other brands offering the same performance for the same money, with better quality fans, there is no reason to recommend any TF card at this point. That's all i'm saying.

Never said you are lying. I've heard about these issues, but not everyone will have them.

I personally set a pretty good fan profile and my fans barely ever go above 40%.

Hm, then my guessing is you don't really overclock it? Other than the factory OC.

Only issue I've had is I can't get 985MHz anymore on core. But I can do 950MHz no issue, which is still a decent OC. Never managed to hit the 1GHz.

Yeah this is what i meant with:
Also, even though they OC like a champ at the start, they don't stay stable for long.
I was able to hit 920+ on my 460 (reference 675, stock 780). But after a few months 885mhz wasn't even stable. 850 was about it.

Few months sure seems short though, compared to my almost 2 years now. I do hope you were able to get successful RMAs?
