Showdown is a PvE guild currently residing on Zenedar EU, we started out on Kazzak though and we finished TBC content as server 1st on Kazzak. We sadly got forced to migrate away because of the condition of the server.
We are a well-established guild since the start of TBC, and been through alot over the years, we are still going strong and always looking for members to improve our lineup.
About us in short
At the start of TBC, Showdown was formed out of the remnants of a guild called Wipe, which was a result of the merging between Synergy and Kapow, two old school guilds that originally came from Daggerspine.
We have always had our focus on PvE progression, and we have always been able to clear the new content in a more than acceptable pace, Lich King Heroic, Halion Heroic, GotIR, GotUR, Yogg0, GotR, all before new content was released. In TBC Felmyst world 6th, Kil'jaeden as world 47th and now Glory of the Icecrown raider as 27th as best achievements.

The raiding times are not totally fixed though, and at new content we extend to 7/7 first week and then back to normal raiding schedule, however we might extend when it's needed during progress, or even add a raid on a Friday or Saturday, during progress only.
★REQUIREMENTS★
- Dedication - activity we expect 90%+ attendance, especially on new content, most of us take time off work/school to level and do new instances (read below for more info).
- Fast reactions and being able to keep yourself alive, while doing your job at the same time.
- The appropriate gear for 25 man raiding
- Previous experience, the more the better.
- Maxing your character with the best professions, consumables, craftables is an absolute must.
- If your internet connection is unreliable, you should stop reading. If your computer shuts down every 2 hours,and you have constant DC issues we don't want you.
- Understanding of your class/spec and general game mechanics.
- Access to Ventrilo v3 and a headset.
- Being able to vocally express your thoughts and ideas as well as adding important inputs during encounters in a short and appropriate way. - Being able to take criticism and and not cry when you are swapped for certain bosses and encounters for the better of the build for it

We are always interested in good applications for all classes. If you think you can perform better then someone in our raiding roster, please do apply. Provide all detailed information required, and perhaps earn yourself a full-time raiding position in Showdown, also please take some time while writing your application we do not like short applications which have been made in 5 minutes we wont even read it.
