What will your characters name be?

I never got that, why play characters with dumb names? It's hardly ever funny, and people won't take you seriously when you want to try a dungeon with them, atleast I won't. What makes people make those characters? Or it could be because I find RP important in MMO's.

I always found it to be a sense of common sense on their part. Naming a character, let's say healing druid, Lulztreehealer is just not original enough. Great, so you can heal people in tree form now and again, so what? So can my druid and every other druid. =/

AFAIK it's any character on the account as long as the account has access to HoM, including random level 1's. Maybe I'm wrong though, since I most likely won't be reusing any names and glaze over those things. I have a name for each race/profession selected already, (Asura Mesmer included) as well as the tentative answers to their personal story! I even have 3 or 4 alternate choices. But you won't be getting their names because I'm paranoid and don't want them to be stolen. Excellent RP names for all of em, with a few sneaky references.

Exactly. I have spent hours trying to figure out what my characters should be named. I love RP, and I find it the most important aspect of MMO's. I can't take names like "legolas" and such seriously. Unserious and "supposed-to-be-funny-names", get outta here. So won't name any characters Dk Asura EVER.
I have now crafted 5 two-worded names, which makes sense, example, I have called my Sylvari a last name that has something to do with the forest. And a Norn which have something to do with nordic mythology, etc. First name and last name love it.



i already know the names ill wanna use will be taken so i wont even bother trying to use em especially without a monthly fee it just means theres gonna be twice as many people going for the name

like the name i use for the forum its available on my wow server i just dont like it enough for a character
