Seems it's based on where you live. I much prefer cold weather here.

Warm is in no way better than cold unless it's like freezing outside.

And our summers get hot for where we are compared to our fall and winter. Fall has the temperatures i prefer while summer's just like...yea screw outside

Yea, gasping for air is by no means a pleasant feeling.

Honestly, Skelington doesnt know what to tell you other than see to a doctor. He experiences vivid nightmares like that all the time, but the pain doesnt normally last into wake-state. He wakes up out of breath sometimes as well, but only after the very worst of nightmares (which happens less frequently than a few times a month or so).

The pain could be like some form of pseudo-pain though; All in your head or whatever the term is. It also sounds somewhat like shadow people, as cases of them include silhouette-like figures that may induce extreme pain(often in the sides) with no physical wounds whatsoever(cases are about half, half are violent, half are not), but Skelington has never heard of them being in the dream itself.

Dang, dream stuff always really interests me. At the very least, I can say that usually when I do gasp for air in my dreams I can breathe fine after. It was just the one time that I felt trouble breathing.

I wonder why it is that people get pain in their sides in dreams? Also, it could be as you said, uhh... that pseudo pain thing. It's like... it feels real but it just isn't. ? I really can't explain that. I don't think I usually dream of shadowy people or what you're talking about. Hmm... maybe though.

Dreams are interesting. Lucid dreams can be fun, and sleep paralysis can be soothing after the first few hallucinations. Skelington loves to ponder what his nightmares might mean. He still thinks about some from many years ago.

He only feels pain while in the dream though, and it is not limited to the sides. Pretty unpleasant, but fortunately only muscle soreness/fatigue will last after waking up.

Shadow people are things seen while awake though, and generally only in peripheral vision. People who believe in them claim they are the "black flashes" that will sometimes appear in the corner of your eyes. Theres a lot of stories about them on google. Pretty interesting, but they are like a form of ghost and usually considered hallucinations, especially when you see one "head-on"(which often looks like a very large human silhouette). But eh, it's all theory and probably conspiracy.

Very true. Might have to actually do it though, woke up with a sore throat and I'm feeling slightly feverish so resting may not be optional, unfortunately. I want to eat chocolate croissants.
