I've sunk about the same amount of time into each game about 20 days haha and got decent at them both and the only one I would run back to save if it was in a fire (If they were disks obviously haha) is Modern Warfare theres something about that game that sparked my love for FPS, I used to all RTS only but God I love Call of Duty sure it isn't always based on skill but if you are really good at it you can shit on another team easily. TF2 would be better to be compared to say BF seeing as its team based but It is a great game and I loved it aswell.

TF2 is way faster paced than CoD:MW while more tactical aswell. However both are good games. (If you're talking about MW1 that is)

I've played both games pretty religiously. I'd say MW is more tactical, as in the fight is over before you know it. TF2 you can survive and rethink a strat a lot and your constantly playing with group comps depending on what you need. MW is just a point and shoot. Adding a few objectives doesn't change the game at all, the better shooters always win. TF is more objective player friendly so you can still kinda suck, but contribute as a meat shield or distraction.

Team Fortress 2 is something you can play for a few rounds for brainless giggles and fun. And also, there's a reason for the TEAM in TF2.
In CoD, you get a more competitive element in multiplayer, as there is more reflex and quick decision-making to be needed. And some luck, to pop random headshots into people.

Although its Imbalanced and Unrealistic its still and enjoyable game go in with a full group of friends all of the said become a thing that doesn't bother you at all because you will just destroy the other team. Also Grenade Launchers kind of do have large radius not exactly a small house but still quite big.

I exagerated massively but the problem I always had with CoD was it was always landslide victories. All it took was 1 sniper to get a streak and it just spiraled from there.

The blast radius of grenade launchers is larger than most of the environments you're in since they consist of a lot of narrow corridors and small rooms.

Dunno who said TF2 is imbalanced considering there is no class that can outright kill everything

CoD is more fast paced, but not by much. It's more "RAAAAWR ME RUN AND SHOOT" than "Ok, I killed the engineer, destroyed the sentry, and now I gotta escape without being injur--OMFG HEAVY MEDIC COMBO!!!!"

Considering that 90% of the vanilla weapons are considered better than the gimmicky ones that you can also find randomly I don't see how this makes sense. AFAIK "The Equalizer" is the only weapon that is actually considered a direct upgrade on the vanilla shovel. Official tournaments only use the vanilla weapons anyway

Soldier takes no skill as they can hit people around corners 10 feet away and get great splash damage, so a Pyro ain't gonna do much. Sniper takes a full charge headshot to take out a heavy, assuming he doesn't have full overheal, cause that's how they roll.

The class with the most health, should not have the most damage and be damn near invulnerable with a medic on him. As said before, soldiers take no skill, just aim anywhere in their vicinity and you'll kill them, and engineers can put up a turret and /afk all day.

Balance does not mean, the class with the lowest health (scout) does the lowest damage, and the class with the highest health (heavy) does the most damage.
If you've actually seen tournament level soldiers play then it's a different story, the rocket jumps they do are insane.

Last time I watched them there were no heavies on either team. I'd consider Scout the strongest class though with the right player

TF2 is a loony toony FPS that is just for pubstomping. CoD isn't some perfect realism game but as far as tactics and any competition go, CoD is VASTLY superior. Although neither game is even close to something like CS or even BF as far as competition.

I prefer my shooting games at least a little serious, so I prefer CoD.

TF2 wins between them but Halo 2 and 3 were more tactical and skill based than both of them.
Eh, I wouldn't call Halo tactical. MW is a camp fest, but Black Ops def takes skill.

    Pyro airblast rocket back, lol
Spy dont be bad stab him when hes shooting at something else and dont bump into the engie
    Sniper ok?
I do agree that heavy+medic can be op
Soldier is easy to learn hard to master
And scout lowest damage? They can wreck

Here is a disclaimer i think i should toss out for all the people saying one game isnt tactical. Im sorry but pretty much every single one here is and can be. Jumping into random servers or games once in a while and playing with idiots does not qualify you to claim that one is less or more tactical than the other. Go to tourneys go to the top of the online leagues. Out of the 3 mentioned COD TF2 and Halo all three require tactics and teamworks at the high levels of gameplay. All three can be won by a pack of drooling retards mashing their buttons.

I play a lot of both. I definitely like the community better in TF2. I find Team Fortress 2 often has players band together to try work on an objective. It can definitely be more strategic. That being said, I like the pace of Cod sometimes too, but too often the experience is lessened by some players that simply want to tube, or camp until they get an OP killstreak, or on small maps, just run around with commando pro and knife people from 10 yards away.
Have you heard of the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV? With an expanded free trial which you can play through the entirety of A Realm Reborn and the award winning Heavensward expansion up to level 60 for free with no restrictions on playtime?
