    Tri-Channel RAM in a Dual-Channel?

I just thought about this and wanted to know if you could stick 2 out of the 3 Tri-Channel RAM sticks into a Dual Channel slot?

I'm pretty sure it'd work but I'm not exactly sure.

Sure it works, but is there any particular reason why you'd buy 3 RAM sticks and use only 2 of those?
Never going to log into this garbage forum again as long as calling obvious troll obvious troll is the easiest way to get banned.
    Trolling should be.

Yea there's nothing really different about the ram, just the number of sticks which comes in the kit.
I assume you already have the 3 sticks?
