Tastosis is easily my favorite casting duo, and I quite enjoy Day 9 as well. Nobody else really comes close, though I will say Husky is probably my favorite backup for Day 9. Really the only caster that just makes me cringe when I hear him (now that Moletrap is gone) is Total Biscuit. Every time he introduces the players wearing trunks like a boxing match, I nearly gag.

On a different note, the cheesing today reminds me why I watch Starcraft rather than play it. Few things annoy me more than Terran cheese and harassment, and to see that it works against arguably the best player in the world is somewhat sickening. Oh well, the cute interviewer chick afterward made up for it.

When K9 is casting I tend to turn of my stream sound no mater how much I like day9 I just can't stand Husky. Kaelaris+ Apollo is a casting duo I like and ofcourse Tastosis but then again it's hard to not like Tastosis, and Bitterdam is also a decent casting duo.

And sorry to say but you're not the best player in the world if you can't handle cheeses. If you wanna be the greatest you can handle cheese and also throw in some cheese time to time, that's why I am still think that Mvp is the greatest player in the world. SC2 is about mind games, mechanics and builds not just mechanics and builds. While Innovation is probably the best with the mechanics and builds he just lacks a lil bit too much in the mind games department to be called the best SC2 player in the world.

And while I dislike cheese and prefer macro games when it games to playing or watching I did enjoy the upset by Maru. Keep in mind they're pro's they're earning money with it so if you know a way to beat your opponent you go for that cause you want that money. And cheesing is part of RTS since the beginning of it's genre and most of the time easy to deal with.

Judging by the way you described it, it gives me the impression that he doesn't even pull it off correctly or well enough. He's no Gaulzi of proxy Oracles to say the least.

Well, I've seen a few of his "Quest to Grandmaster" vids but I've not kept up with SC in a few weeks, been too busy. His tactic against Terran is proxy oracle. That's it. His backup is to keep building more oracles and sending them round the back. Unless the first 2 oracles do something significant he just loses. It's a complete casino move when he does it, rather than something he can get back into the match from. He tried the same in PvP at MLG against Nony but it got scouted, and it was so obvious how much better Nony was than him because although he tried to claw it back, in the ensuing battle despite fairly similar armies, Nony lost basically nothing and MB got stomped.

I absolutely love Jeff and Adam but I would never say he was a grandmaster or MLG worthy. If he does get GM then gratz, that's your reward for putting the work in, but you won't do well in it.

Does anyone else think Theognis' tweet was really apathetic towards his fans? I don't blame him entirely because of all the shit that hyped players with poor results like him get from the community but it still seems like a mean way to leave the scene.

I remember in WoL being tank contained by terran (he had a lot of tanks and marines), so i decided to sacrifice my stalkers by blinking right on top of marines. Almost all marines was dead from 3 suicide attacks of my stalkers and i finished him off by 2 void rays lol.

So innovation vs soulkey was intense, it was a shame to see soulkey throw it away though like he did.

It seems like after that it just went down hill for woongjin.
