12 panda cubs born in south-west Chinese city
Beijing, 28 September 2011 (MIA) - A group of giant panda cubs nap at a nursery in the research base of the Giant Panda Breeding Centre in Chengdu, south-west China. China has launched its once-a-decade panda census, which tries to determine how many of the endangered animals live in the wold amid efforts to boost numbers. These 12 panda cubs, which were born this year, now bring the centre's number of pandas up to 108.
This being my 350th post I figured it was fitting.
