Raid Finder Loot Rules Update

I have done a fair bit of theory crafting (from a healer perspective) and have come up with the following.

You have 3 types of healers in LFR.

Those doing 15 - 20k HPS
Those doing 10 - 15K HPS
and those doing 5 - 10K HPS.

If you are in the first grp, you get no loot. Second group, ocassional loot, third group gauranteed loot.

It seems the more you need it, the more likely you are to get it.
I saw a 5khps disc priest come out with no less than 1 piece of loot from every boss, while myself (20khps) got none.

Blizzards way of keeping those that can't raid normal or heroic in the game, I guess

I just did LFR and averaged (AVERAGED) per encounter 24K HPS.

I won the robe off Morchok and the pants token off the second boss.

I would like to see a spec based flag in the system too. I've been seeing Moonkins roll on agility leather/trinkets and it is getting a bit frustrating, especially when you armory them and they have a resto off spec.

Yeah, people tend to just "Need" anything they can without thinking of others . Regarding the guy talking about HPS, please stop. HPS means nothing in LFR--it's all just mindless AoE healing to pad your numbers.

On my first run I needed on an agi ring as I clicked need on everything I could need on. I didn't know I could need on agi pieces, so assumed it was a strength one. I won it, but traded it to the guy with the highest roll who COULD use it.

I think it's good that the RFL rules are updated and there should (and will, I know) be more updates.

Last week both healing maces dropped from Madness for my alt. I needed on both ofc since it would improve my chances of at least getting one, and I actually won both of 'em. I gave the extra one to the healer closest to me on the healing meter, regardless of rolls... do u think I did wrong?
