Archbishop Benedictus didn't teach us how to use the orbs properly

Everyone who has tested the new dungeon The hour of twilight on the PTR has noticed that. Blizzard said at the beggining of the expansion that the orbs would be an element, a new mechanical to play with. What do you think? Are we ever going to get offensive or CC orbs? maybe like how mages that get their fire orb.

But indeed it would be fun if we had another CC other than Mind Control. In situations where the priest is a healer there can be healing problems if the priest are in need to use MC.

MC is a good CC if you are shadow, but it still requires you to do nothing but control him.
Fear is hard to control and need to be glyphed to even be reasonable to use in a CC situation.
The "stun" you talk about is the same stun you use to heal your group with Serenity or Sanctuary.

What he is talking about is a CC that can be compared to a trap from hunters, sheep, hex, sap and so on.

Well, we've got fear, shackle, and MC already so I can't really see Bliz giving us more cc (even though our cc is often useless).

You don't use it as a regular CC in PvE, the duration is too short.

It is like tirion's in-combat mass ress. Only the best of their class can use these attacks.
