Hulu are in "Discussions" to revive community, not negotiations. There's a biggg difference between those two words. Hopefully Hulu arent just stringing us along.

I'm curious if a company like Hulu would be more open to making more episodes like Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, I read that it was hell for Harmon to get that one made.

Agreed. 'Six seasons and a movie!'

I agree, the show was best from late season one all the way through season 3. But still, Season four has a lot of awesome moments, and the great ideas are back, and they're really dealing eith the scum that was season 4 in a humurous way.
To me it's like season 5 went back to like 8-9/10 awesomeness (that really makes me wishing for more) from being at -10 in season 4, so I'm content it didn't end with s3.

It's been saved. By the oddest thing anyone could think of, Yahoo Screen: https://tv.yahoo.com/blogs/yahoo-tv/...204612640.html

I love this show, like to an insane degree, by far my favorite show of all time (And I watch way too much television). It's really awesome that nowadays shows like this have a decent shot of making it back, somewhere, somehow. Hopefully they manage to get Glover back, but honestly the show was fine without and Season 5 had some of my favorite episodes of all time.

This is just great news, I'm really really happy right now.

I don't get people saying season 5 wasn't the same as the others. besides being less, the only episode I didn't really like was the GI joe one, and even then the show impresses me every time it does these super referency episodes so I enjoy it anyways. They did a perfect send off episode, and in the same episode had a game of freaking floor is lava.

Although I'm a pretty ardent fan, I mean I thought season 4 wasn't all that bad. Still the worst, but not by much, and it did some very good stuff that it seemed might never would have happened without the changes.

Seasons: 2>3>1=5>4. And even season 4 is still one of my favorite seasons of any show of all time.

Well I know what I am re-watching soon!

I hated this sitcom for reasons not related to comedy.

I am a Union Sheet Metal Foreman, and I was in charge of retro-fitting and remodeling of LACC where this sitcom was filmed mostly.

I did get to meet a few of the actors of the show, but the concessions that not only the company I was working for had to make but other trade companies without compensation was a bit much.

Clearing of Construction parking for catering of the stars.

Not being able to use Hammer drills or tools which had a decible level higher than a fart while they were filming ( even if they were 4 buildings away ), Which they were filming sometimes 4 days straight, which put a lot of stress on time management for all companies involved with the remodeling of the campus.

The worst is how the school treated their student body, and anyone not involved with the show.

Now I only watched a few minutes of the show, and I am sure its good, but I can't get behind it, for many people were sent home for days without pay for we were unable to work due to the concessions which were made with the School and Sony/Universal et al.

I understand some of the things as what i would consider typical things that go along with them, but as much as I love community Dan Harmon ( The creator ) was supposed to be really tough to work with. So a bunch of those things could have originated from that.

    Yay, great news.

Also, for the construction guy....is that not true for any show that films on a real set? I imagine there's always some tension between the show and the people living there. Except for LOST, because Hawaiins are super happy and they filmed in the middle of nowhere in Hawaii.

It seemed to go beyond just simple requests that would annoy a crew. citing they had constraints on what tools/etc they could use ALL while being unable to have extra time even though they were restricted in what they could do.

LOST might now have screwed over the people they filmed near but they screwed over everyone who watched the show....

I know right!? My friend told me about the Community renewal and my reaction wasn't "OMGYES" it was "Yahoo have a streaming service?!?!"

The OMGYES came a few moments later, I can't wait for the sixth season!
These aren't the spoilers you're looking for.

    Move along.

I didn't even know Yahoo! was still relevant.

I fear that the new season will probably end up really bad

Now if only they'd make the series into something Chevy would want to come back to, and he'd somehow be written back, all would be well. I don't really care about dong lover but Chevy is Chevy.

Well, looks like a smart move on Yahoo!'s part then.

So just watched the two episodes released on Yahoo, and I gotta say for the most part the show is still the same (Which is great news). Was worried it might change too much or something but it ended up being exactly like the old show, except a bit longer and with new characters. We haven't seen too much of Frankie but she did well for the scenes she was in and Elroy has had almost no time to develop so we will see how he goes. I had high hopes, and so far they have met them easily.

Chang and Dean are still perfect, and the core group still interacts with each other the same as always.
