i currently have tailoring and jewelcrafting on my lock...im wondering what some of you may think about dropping jc and getting engineering..in my head i can see both profession plus darkmoon card volcano offering a pretty sustain intellect increase and on the occasional alignment of all three..incredible burst.

It could end up as more of a headache later on if you ever have to deal with an on-use trinket since there is a delay in the ability to use glove tinker + trinket.

Engineering sadly does not work as well with the current use of on use trinkets for both demo and affliction. So if you are looking at dps alone it is not a very good idea atm. Though it is not exactly terrible either. Depending on what trinkets are used in 4.3 this may or may not change.
