    What's your cpu's temperature?

I feel as if my computer is not getting the right amount of air circulation for my minor overclock. Therefore I kind of want to start a thread where people tell their computer specs (case/cpu/cooler..etc) including voltages if overclocked! I'll go first:

    Storm Sniper
    CPU: i7 860 oc'd to 3.62ghz
    Core Voltage: 1.216
Cooler: corsair h60 with push/pull configuration
    Motherboard: p7p55d-e LX
    GPU: gts 250 1gb

My idle cpu temperature is ~45c. Full load maxes at 70c.

I understand ambient temperatures play a large role but I can't tell the ambient temperature in my room specifically. However, I live in an apartment (1 floor) and it is set at 82degrees Fahrenheit through my living rooms thermometer.

Is this acceptable temperatures with an h60 cooling my overclocked cpu? I've tried re-seating/reapplying thermal paste couple of times and it appears to always be around ~45degrees celcius.

(I know I'm asking for your specs/coolers as well as asking for advice on my desktop ^_^)

Smaller architecture makes a big difference. 32nm design.

Temperatures depend a lot on ambient temperature. During the hot days of the now ending summer, my CPU could reach 75-77°C on load. But now, when the ambient temperature is much cooler, it barely reaches 65°C.

I get a pretty massive temp difference between my CPU cores. In IBT Core0 and Core3 typically run 6-8c cooler than Core1 and Core2. Must be missing some TIM on that side or not making proper contact. Bleh, no biggie.

Those CPU temps are shockingly close to mine.... >_> grrr. Oh wait your voltages are way lower. Mwahahahaha, nvm!

I removed one of the Hyper212's fans - see, I had one hooked up to the CPU fan (4 pin) which would do a great job of adjusting speed depending on load/temps. But the OTHER fan had to be connected to a chassis pin - which doesn't speed up when things get hotter. So basically I would have 1 blademaster going berserk at 2000rpm with IBT running, while the other cruised along at 900rpm and effectively stopped the first fan from doing it's job properly.
Running with a single fan I have *slightly* higher idles, but slightly lower load temps.

I'm currently looking for a solution which allows me to connect 2 fans to the CPU fan connector, a bit like how the D14 handles things. I really liked the push/pull config but I need both fans need to speed up under load.

    Flip them.

Have the back one going faster and the pusher going slower... course you could use a fan controller for the second one. *hint hint*

This is exactly what I need! 12" is bit long considering the pins and CPU fans are right next to each other, but that can be tucked away somewhere

    @ Delt, no.

And you're comfortable in 82 degrees?

My computer's information is in my sig, and the overclocking leaderboard thread. Sits at 20-25C idle, 35-45 while gaming right now. Have yet to see if it'll go up or down during the winter since the furnace is downstairs.
