"Fix my DPS" - Log analyzes and general help *READ OP FIRST*

Hi there

I've been tank pretty much since classic and only this Addon I changed to Fury as I will not be able to attend all the raids with my guild and a DPS is easier to replace than a tank. Anyways my gear isn't bad by any means, but I don't seem to be able to get close to the SIM-DPS (970k).

I'm not really sure, where my errors are. Enrage seems to have a good uptime and I don't see any basic mistakes in my rotation. Still I'm not happy with my damage.

I know I didn't use any potions, that's something I will change for the future.

Any advice from a seasoned Fury Warrior?

thanks loads for all the pointers. i was reading threads on how to use dos and it was saying bc, ramp dos and as for of, it was saying ramp of and THEN rb. I was a tank on this guy until end of Wod and then didnt raid til recently so im still working out some of the kinks. I have a straight haste trink i can swap out for dos but ppl kept telling me how great dos was. seems i was getting bad advice. im working on getting engine but i have gotten no love so far

Ramp/BC > DoS > BT > RB is fine. It's the fact that you didn't use your racial and Avatar along with BC. BC should always be used inside Avatar when Avatar is up. You wouldn't delay BC for Avatar, but you would definitely delay Avatar with BC (though their both up on the opener so no need to delay.

As far as OF, since you don't have CoF then yea you would use it after your BC window since you have DoS (this will change after you drop it), but it needs to be in place of a Furious Slash (so BT AND RB need to be on CD) and only while enraged. When you get CoF, you'll always delay OF until BC comes back up if BC isn't up when OF is.

I'd use raidbots to sim, but I'm betting with 4pc T20 the stat stick will come out on top if similar ilvl. Engine is decent, but as Fury you want to aim for CoF/Glaives. BiS for single target and AoE since Glaives scale with the number of mobs. It's a pretty nice combo.

Don't worry about the advice you're getting from these apparent people. Just review the Fury guide stickied in this forum and it'll give you the information you need.

Almost every raid i get into members asking me to fix my dps. Well i know there is something wrong that makes my dps this low but still did not figure it out yet. I tried talents and read few guides but did not get the hang of it.

i uploaded a combat log where me and another warrior and there is a big differance between us in DMG done

i dont know what i am doing wrong.
My guess is the rotation!
any help from the pro's would be appreciated

His legendaries are fine; he even has a BiS one. The problem lies in the logs, not his armory.

Read wowhead or icy veins to get a grasp on how fury warrior plays, then check out the stickied guide on these forums.

Thanks for taking the time to read all this. First things first, I cannot (from work) search the US Armory, so I can't grab a link to my toon (912 or 913 ilvl at the linked log, Kshishtof on Zul'jin americas); will edit that in after work. I've been trying to get my DPS up on my Fury warrior, but it's just been shocking. When I sim him via AskMrRobot I'm supposed to be pulling something in the area of 800-850k on Goroth, I cannot post links as my account is too new, however I can PM links to my last Goroth kill on warcraftlogs from the 8th of August, I'm about 70-75% of what I should be. I don't know if I'm just losing focus over the duration of the fight and messing up the rotation, not optimising cool down usage (wait for all of BC/Abadaa/Flask to be off CD, or after initial opener pop each one as it comes off CD), or just missing GCDs/timing of non-cooldown window rotation. I've watched videos and read the fury guide on here, even got Nooke(?)s Weak auras setup, but I just, I don't know; fucking suck at fury. Even halfassing with my way lower geared Assassination rogue I pull better, and he's not got a BiS leg anywhere.

Anyways, appreciate any and all help/comments/trolling/insults.

1. You should Rend AFTER CS not before (it can procc CS)
2. Your Execute rotation is wrong, you spam execute till you get 2 stacks of EP AND a CS proc then you cast MS, otherwise keep executing
3. You still use BC/BS in execute phase (after CS)
4. Sim is with pots & rune, you aren't using those
5. Rend uptime could be a bit higher (~80% since you're using it during the execute phase only before BC)

7. If you don't want to respec for bosses keep SS over Dauntless

Well you have very low enrage uptime (57.12%) should be 80%+. Your gear is very badly optimized stat-wise, you don't want crit on the gear. Missed some frothing berserker buffs. On Harjatan you might gain dps if waiting to pop cds until first adds come.

Fix your enrage uptime, fix the stats on your gear.

my rend uptime could be higher... also got a 895 CoF
but i think something is worng with my playstyle
and at AoE fights like harjatan/mistress/host i ****** up ...

Same on M+ sometimes top but most of the time last in DPS
Tyranical pure ST also a big problem.

I have simmed Inner Rage and Bloodbath as talents, and of course (I read alot of many reviews and tips etc...) Inner Rage has come on top.

However, I am having trouble in using Inner Rage, as I prefer to RB ALOT (I love spamming). Is this the only reason my dps is lower? I have tested Inner Rage, and do about 150k less than with Bloodbath!! I just cant seem to get a proper rotation with Inner Rage.

you can check in this forum the "Sticky: 7.2.5 Fury Guide & FAQ ", it covers all that you need to know about inner rage. You are doing BB rotation wrong too, you dont spam RB with bloodbath, you use BT on CD even if you can fit another RB and rampage is a higher priority too, RB just replace FS as a filler when you are enraged.

Thanks Orgonutil. I read it before posting here, and have been testing it for alot of different bosses. On the last KJ kill on the Warcraft Logs, I was trying to switch around to using more RB than BT to see the effects. Very big drop in dps.

So if I understand correctly, the Rotation should be:

Rampage at 100 Rage (As I have the Frothing Berserker talent) > BT > RB > FS?

Also, is there a section here for Weak Auras or some sort of rotation helper addon?

Hello again guys. I've gone with Inner Rage now, and I'm sticking to it as I have gotten the rotation down better. Now I'm aiming for a higher Average Score (at least on Ilvl), and have noticed it go down the more my ilvl is going up! Anybody can check my logs and give advice?

The latest kill is HC Kiljaden from last week, at thats pretty much my worst fight (though it should be op for warriors).
