    That scene which opens DA2.. When you reach that point one suddenly realizes how low one's standards have dropped for paying such game.

    Terranigma, for the SNES.

    When you're trapped in a cave for the night and a goat (or something) keeps you company, alongside the goat's dead mate. You eventually flee the cave by climbing out, but the goat stays behind, eventually passing away (you can return to the place later on, and the goat will have died next to her dead mate.

    It's a really emotional scene.
