I'm looking for assistance for our hunter who's looking to improve his dps to match roughly what he should be averaging. Many many many thanks in advance. No feedback is too small or too big!

Your mastery is quite low(~40%) for BM spec. Mine has floated from 75-90% throughout the expansion depending on how gear dropped, so while not always your choice you should aim to get your mastery up higher.

Your rotations are mostly fine, you miss a few kill commands overall and a few times used Titans Thunder without a Dire beast up but thats not always possible so no big deal. Your lining up Aspect with BW so thats good. You prepotted and repotted during Aspect+BW so all good there too.

I suspect based on the number of missed Kill commands that your focus starving yourself and not being able to use KC on cooldown immediately because you've no focus. So make sure to only use Cobra shot when your >90 focus or when rotating it with KC during Bestial wrath. Don't spam cobra outside BW.

Other than that, you need a dps legendary badly to make BM perform well. GL

My ST damage is pathetic and am constantly seeing lower ilvls MM hunters do the same or more dps than me and same ilvl doing much more dps.
I know I am doing something wrong but I dont know what, so any feedback is very appreciated.
Our guild is 8/10 H and I really need to be able to contribute to get Elissande and Guldan down.

I have tried so many different builds but can only get good dps on ST when RNG crits are good but I would like to learn how I can do higher damage consistently.

The game isnt very fun when I am not pulling my weight in a raid, especially when people see my 901 ilvl and expect god mode dps.

Any feedback is very appreciated, criticism included!
Please help a fellow hunter out, I've been watching your crazy dps from the bottom of the meters and I want to be like you!

I think i use everything as i should but i still can't seem to do as good as our other hunter. We are having mythic progression and i would really like to fit in with the others and not be last every time!

I am using the Icy Veins trick shot rotation and follow it as far as I know. marked -> arcane -> 2x aimed.
My DPS always seem to be lower than those around the same level as I am. I am sure my gear is not the problem, I sim and use my own generated pawn values. gear is almost fully optimized. I would be grateful for any tips that could improve my rotation.

Skorpyron I was trying marks and I did not feel comfortable.
I need to enchant my rings.

Surgite is a guild mate/friend and he out performed me for sure but he has the 4 piece set bonus which has to make a difference before we got that our numbers were always really close.

On single target, don't run Dire Stable and Dire Frenzy, its usually Dire Stable + Stomp or Way of the Cobra + Dire Frenzy.

You shot yourself in the foot with tier pieces. Chest and Shoulders are two worst optimized stats for hunters, Should go for the other 4 pieces.

Just looking at first 10 seconds of pull, I dunno why you are delaying spells that are insta cast and not on the gcd. You can pop BW, TT, and AotW (and orc racial) all in a split second. You need to button mash harder during BW, lol no joke.

Lastly, you should never delay BW, you can delay Crows + TT a little for the next BW but not too much.

So a few weeks ago, I started raiding casually on my hunter and I was producing pretty nice logs for my ilevel - above 80% most fight many above 90%. This week with some better gear (got my second legendary and a few night hold pieces) my rankings have gone down quite a bit - mostly below 40%. Now I would like to blame it on having perhaps really decently optimized gear for the lower level parses and poor gear for the higher ilevel parses (the new legendary was pure utility) but I think something else is going on - that I am simply playing poorly.

He's running the completely wrong talent setup for MM. Tell him/her to go check out the icy-veins guide. Since he has the legendary belt he needs to be running trickshot instead of sidewinders, lock n load on any kind of aoe fights, and volley for most fights as well. barrage is shite now and a murder of crows is only good for like pure ST

You seem to be hitting the right buttons at the right time, its hard to point out anything that's specifically wrong. Is there a specific fight where you feel like you are underperforming?

Not have having good legendaries will drag you down a fair bit.

Is it still beneficial to macro pet focus attacks Aka "Bite" or "Smack" to our main abilities to reduce lag between pet using said abilities?

I am not talking about macro-ing /pet attack to get on target as stated in the icy vein guides.
