Well, it's late. Group tool aka LFG was in game during original TBC launch.

i quit tbc because once i got my full bis from crafted pieces as a clothie and blues that were better then raid items i had no reason to play
thats the big problem with the "let loot be loot" model
anyways t5 might actually be worth playing for a few weeks until you get your gear and can quit again!

I hope this tier doesn't come out too soon, but considering all the damage Blizzard is dealing with I wouldn't be surprised if it did.

I mean with the way loot works and loot scarcity it's going to be SEVERAL weeks if you're lucky but sure. There are 12 pieces of gear for me in T5 raids. Even if I'm exceptionally lucky that's more than a few weeks.

Not disagreeing with you that "let loot be loot" is extremely boring in retail, but it works pretty well in TBC.

Exactly, it's same in retail. Only way for Blizzard to counter it in live game is reducing drop rates, and we know how people react to this.

Of course, many people will say it's "fair system" and "game respect your time more" (although our beloved community still say opposite even if Blizzard implemented "let loot be loot" and scrapped AP), but in the end people just unsub faster. Probably they realized that too far into 9.1 production, that's why domination gear was so fast put together.

"Let Loot be Loot" is a concept that only works when raids aren't being cleared a week after they launch (retail) and the same day they launch (classic).

Sounds like you don't actually enjoy the game then, if you "get your gear and quit".

And yet, despite being unsubbed, you still hang around a WoW site and shitpost about how you don't play the game

    lmao

T5 was originally released at launch back in 2007. And yet somehow, even when it gets delayed to ~3 months after launch, there's still people crying that it's "too soon". Because apparently T4 raids are going to stop existing as soon as phase 2 goes live

    lol

what exactly are you expecting from a 12 year-old game that already has class balance/itemization and other changes from a later patch implemented? go on, tell me what you expected. i'll wait

He clearly meant they hopefuly dont rush the patch so its (again) full of bugs because of the situation dude, chill.

For a lot of players, 9.1 is almout finished so yeah, this timing makes sense. Gotta keep them subs up!

"clearly meant", yet he never mentioned bugs anywhere in his post

    lmao

also, bugs existing does not equate to "rushed". Even in games that took nine years to be developed, all sorts of bugs and glitches existed.

and the top 0.0001% of players clearing the content in week 1 affects you how?

Personally I play classic tbc about 4-5 hours per week lately and I've got lots of gear to still get, and shit to do. Just don't play 5+ hours per day, take it slow instead. The loot system is pretty chill that way, to me anyway.

Inserting random stuff as "lol" or "lmao" while not giving real reasons when angry posting is just embarrassing. Specially when i just pointed you didn't understand what he meant, because you were talking about something different. You are just avoiding the obvious point here because reasons. Specially since i never said i agreed or disagreed with him. But whatever, dude. You do you.

Agreed, T5 doesn't invalidate T4, this isn't retail. My guild will be farming T4 still whilst clearing T5.
And it definitely isn't too soon, even my average raiding guild now DE's 99% of Kara loot and only a few upgrades for specific classes DST/Magus blade come to mind are still needed.

    Pretty happy with it.

Hoping we're still at least 6-8 weeks from release, so i can (hopefully) be done with Mythic raiding on retail this tier, and be able to blast on TBCC.
